UN chief hits out at Myanmar monks’ ‘hate speech’

YANGON – UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon hit out Monday at “extreme elements” in Myanmar who are sowing hate speech and bigotry towards religious minorities, days before the country votes in landmark elections.
