Dogs face killer disease after Thai floods

Abandoned dogs rescued after the floods in Thailand are now under threat from a killer disease, according to volunteers working near Bangkok.

About 300 animals rescued from the rising waters and sheltered on an elevated bridge less than 60km from the capital could die due to an outbreak of distemper, says an activist of the Soi Dog Foundation.
